WELL… we did not win for Best Screenplay. But, to my pleasant surprise, we won the People’s Choice Award for Best Feature, as voted on by audiences at the festival!
They were still tallying the votes during the main Awards Ceremony, so they announce the People’s Choice Awards in the lobby afterward. And obviously, not enough time to get the awards engraved, but I hope to receive mine soon.
