Psychopomp had a great screening today at NYCHFF. Really wonderful response from the audience and, by all accounts, a successful Q&A after. I want to give a heartfelt thanks to the entire programming and festival team.
Coming down from Boston to see the film and support me were two dear friends from our D&D group… and the first time meeting Dave and Mara in person. It was so amazing seeing them and getting brunch together and all the things.
The best part of the day, though, was Brian’s mom coming in from New Jersey to see the film! It’s her first time seeing it, and there were many tears. I think she really enjoyed it, but there were a lot of varying emotions seeing and hearing him again.
It was a big day. A good day. But also an emotional day, full of many hugs.
